Wheels donated for a good cause

Fallshaw recently helped to donate 10 wheels for boat launching trollies as part of a sailing program designed for disabled children.

One of the team at Dandenong Wheels and Castors was looking to purchase some wheels, which he could donate to the Hastings Yacht Club. He generously volunteers one day per week at the yacht club, sailing and instructing different special school groups. The wheels were needed for the club's boat launching trollies, as they had built five new dinghy trolleys to be used on the concrete loading ramp and in storage.

The yacht club hosts a program called 'Sailability', where anyone can join and is inclusive of "people with a broad range of physical, sensory and intellectual disabilities". And as explained on the club's website "the diverse nature of sailing as a sport and recreation offers a unique opportunity for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to enjoy getting on the water".

Managing director Jo Fallshaw recognised it as a good cause, and without hesitation donated the 10 wheels at no cost.

The new puncture-proof R400/70C-PRYA10 wheels had fit perfectly to the sail boats and are now working well.
